What is Theologos?

Theologos exists to help Christians think clearly about the Christian faith and recognize the Logos at work in reality. We are not aligned with any denomination and will generally avoid the already loud noise of intra-Christian disputes, focusing instead on the shared core claims of Christianity.

We follow the image described in C.S. Lewis’s Mere Christianity of the Christian faith as a house with many rooms, Theologos works like a candle in the hallway—illuminating the basic claims of Christianity, why they matter, and how they cohere. The rooms (or in this image, the historic traditions) remain essential, but the hall is where people first encounter the faith and understand the foundations of this house.

The central mission of Theologos is to offer Christians sound apologetics: engaging secular ideologies and rival worldviews while also teaching Christians how to reason well and form their own arguments. Some content will include theology, philosophy, history, and core doctrines, building a growing library meant to be revisited and learned from.

For now, the project is modest and published as time allows. I hope to write at least once a month, with the vision of more structured content when it can be done with care. But with that said, Theologos’ guiding conviction is simple: Christianity welcomes honest examination, because it rests on truth—and truth can withstand scrutiny.
